The Six Aims are a set of values that govern the Indian Princess program. The girls earn patches for reciting these to the nation Chief or nation Med Man during the weekend, this can be done during the bead trading event or at other various times through the weekend. Practice them with your daughters, a good time to do this is during the drive to the camp sites. The Six Aims are:

1. To be clean in body and pure in heart

2. To be friends always with my father/daughter

3. To love the sacred circle of my family

4. To listen while others speak

5. To love my neighbor as myself

6. To seek and preserve the beauty, of the Great Spirit’s work in forest, field and stream

• Wampum: A fee that goes towards the cost of operating the tribe and nation. It covers items like firewood, shared kitchen supplies, equipment replacement, trailers, and group events. This consists of both a season fee and a per-campout fee.

• Pow-wow: A pre-camping planning session scheduled in the week before a campout. Shared duties are assigned, and there is usually a craft or activity for the girls.

• Nation Fire: A Saturday night ceremony featuring tribal cheers, skits, and nation-wide announcements.

• Zocolo: A Sunday morning wrap-up ceremony where patches and honors are distributed, and upcoming events are shared.

• Vests and Patches: Participants wear specialized leather vests to display earned patches. Patches for the front denote names and milestones, while event patches go on the back. There’s a whole thing about this :)

• Bead Trading: A highly anticipated weekend tradition. The girls spend hours trading beads both within their tribe and at the official Saturday evening trading event. Bringing unique "Specials" to trade is highly encouraged.

• Adventure Names: Dads and daughters pick out nicknames to use within the nation, celebrating fun milestones or unique family traditions. Girls pick, Dads most often are earned or assigned :)

• Charity Athletics: Annual nation golf and poker tournaments bring the adult community together to raise financial aid funds ensuring all families can participate.

• Relay For Life: A long-standing nation partnership supporting the American Cancer Society, proudly standing as a top contributor nationally and teaching the girls the value of community philanthropy.
